Instructions:

1. Design the out side of your card however you wish. For the inside, you need a square piece of paper. (81/4 inch square fits in a 4x5 card) Fold it in half diagonally. Unfold, and fold on the other diagonal. Unfold in half horizontally.
2. Push in the horizontal fold on both sides, so you have a triangle.
3. Take one bottom point of the triagle, and fold it to the center. Repeat with the other bottom point. Flip the paper over, and do the same to the triangle on that side.
4. Unfold one of these corners, and turn the fold that goes to the tip inwards. Do the same to the other three tips.
5. At this point, you may want to cut a design on the bottom edge. Here are a few ideas that give nice results when the paper is unfolded:
6. You can now stamp the inside paper to accompany the outside. Realize that the flat sides of your folded paper are to be glued to the inside of the card, so determine the top of the paper according to the way you want your card to open.
