Thumping Cards

Materials needed:

• Glossy paper
• Ink pad (light in color like- yellow, or light pink)
• 3 juicy, brush markers (like- red, purple, black)
• One stamp with a thick-lined image
• Stamp cleaning materials

Instructions:

1. Fold your glossy paper into a card.
2. Ink your stamp with the light colored ink pad.
3. Take the lightest color marker and tap the brush end (thump it) all over the stamp. (Thumping your marker is like hitting the stick on a snare drum!!)
4. Then take the next darker marker, and repeat the thumping process. Finish with the darkest marker.
   ***Always go from lightest to darkest with your colors. You don't want to get dark colors in your light inks.***
5. Breathe on the stamp to remoisten the ink.
6. Stamp the image on the card. (It may take a few minutes to dry completely.)

It should look like a tie-dyed image! Glossy paper will blend the colors better than the regular flat matte paper.
