Loose Weave Background Cards

Materials needed:

• Cardstock in coordinating colors
• Exacto Knife and cutting matt
• Adhesive of your choice

Instructions:

1. To cut the lines in your cardstock, simply cut curvy lines with your Exacto Knife down the length of the paper. The lines should all be randomly cut. No two lines are the same. Use firm pressure with the knife to make a clean, smooth cut. Be careful.
2. Cut strips of coordinating cardstock in random widths--all the same length.
3. Weave the strips in your wavy lines of the cardstock. Leave them as loose as you desire.
4. Trim each end of the weaved background to cut off any rough edges.
5. Glue the weaved background onto your main cardstock. Glue down the ends of the strips where needed.
6. Attach your finished image to the top and embellish as desired.
